Hi everybody)
My name is Olia and I'm a young researcher. I study philology (language and literature). I've received a task at the University. Could You please write 5-7 associations with the word "Honour" (abstract/concrete, whatever comes to mind)? Under association I mean any idea or thing which you think about when hearing this word.
And  finally write down Your age and occupation (approximate), please. Thank You for Your time and consideration.

When I think of honour I think of respect and responsibility. For someone to be honoured they need to be respected. They need to be honest, sincere and trust worthy. It is also about appearances. I'm not really sure how to explain fully what I mean, but I have an Asian back ground and I lived in the Middle East for three years. Both cultures have a lot upholding honour. As well as having it as a strong trait in both cultures I am quite patriotic and the royal family (i am part british as well) and some war veterans are 'honourable'. Going back to what I was saying about honour being a big part of my cultur, it also associate it with 'keeping face'. Although I do not solely think of it as a purely outward thing, it still plays a part.

I know this is probably a stupid thing to relate it to, but if you look at Mulan (the original story) it has a lot to do with honour.

Also if you look at the way some languages work you can understand a lot about how their cultures. Like in Japanese of Korean, the honourifics in them. They are to show respect to those older than you or those who are honourable.

I'm 15 and I am in secondary school.

I hope this is what you meant, sorry it is slightly disjointed this is basically a tiny thought vomit.
